Guest Fitness & Health Declaration

This journey includes cultural sightseeing, walking tours, visits to historic sites, and some travel days between destinations. Guests should be able to:
• Walk moderate distances at a relaxed pace
• Manage steps and uneven surfaces at historic locations
• Participate comfortably in daily sightseeing activities By signing this form, you confirm that:
• You are physically able to participate in the tour activities described in the itinerary
• You will inform New Era Tours of any medical or mobility conditions that may require assistance
• You understand that some destinations may involve stairs, uneven pathways, or extended walking

These Terms of Service govern the use of services provided by New Era Tours. By booking a tour, using our website, or engaging with our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Bookings and Reservations

All bookings with New Era Tours are subject to availability and confirmation. Secure your place with a fully refundable reservation deposit of NZD $500 per person at this stage. This allows you to hold a place on the tour while we confirm the final group numbers. Your deposit remains fully refundable until the tour is confirmed. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive confirmation details including itinerary information, payment details, and travel instructions.

Tour Confirmation
Approximately three months before departure or before, we confirm whether the tour will proceed based on the minimum group size. Once confirmed, guests will be invited to make the second payment to secure their booking. At this stage the journey is officially confirmed and we begin finalising arrangements with our accommodation and local partners.

Please note cancellation charges may apply after this stage.
It is the responsibility of the traveller to review booking details carefully and inform us of any errors as soon as possible.

Final Payment
The remaining balance is due 60 days before departure. This allows time for guests to organise travel insurance and international flights before the journey begins.

If the Tour Does Not Reach Minimum Numbers In the unlikely event that minimum numbers are not reached, the tour will not proceed and all reservation deposits will be refunded in full.

Why We Use This Process
Because New Era Tours operates small-group journeys, this approach allows us to:
• keep group sizes personal
• confirm tours with the right number of guests
• provide clarity for everyone before final payments are made

Payments

Tour prices are listed in the currency specified at the time of booking. Payments may be made through approved payment methods provided by New Era Tours.

To summarise tour investment process:
Reserve your place → $500 deposit
Tour confirmed (3 months before departure) → second payment
Final balance → 60 days before departure
Optional activities or services paid separately

Failure to complete payment by the specified deadline may result in cancellation of your booking.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation policies may vary depending on the tour package, supplier, or accommodation provider.

If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify New Era Tours in writing. Cancellation fees may apply depending on how close the cancellation occurs before the tour departure date.

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the cancellation terms associated with the specific tour.

Travel Documents and Requirements

Travellers are responsible for ensuring they have the correct travel documents, including:

• Valid passports
• Visas (if required)
• Travel insurance
• Health or vaccination requirements

New Era Tours is not responsible for any travel disruptions caused by missing or incorrect documentation.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travellers obtain comprehensive travel insurance before departure. Travel insurance can help protect against unexpected circumstances such as trip cancellations, medical emergencies, or travel delays.

Changes to Itinerary

While we aim to follow the itinerary as closely as possible, New Era Tours reserves the right to make adjustments when necessary due to weather conditions, safety concerns, supplier availability, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Any changes will always be made with the goal of maintaining the overall quality and experience of the tour.

Liability

New Era Tours works with independent service providers including hotels, transportation companies, and local tour operators.

While we carefully select our partners, we are not liable for:

• Delays caused by transportation providers
• Changes made by third-party suppliers
• Loss or damage to personal belongings
• Injuries or accidents occurring during activities

Participants are responsible for their own personal safety during the journey.

Behaviour and Conduct

All travellers are expected to behave respectfully toward fellow travellers, guides, hosts, and local communities.

New Era Tours reserves the right to remove a participant from the tour without refund if their behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful to others.
